Hello everyone!
Thank you for being here! We welcome you to this virtual space conceived to face this time in which, postponing hugs, physically distancing ourselves and putting on the mask, are an act of love and respect for others.
The coronavirus pandemic has put us to the test as a human species. We are convinced that only love, solidarity, respect and all the values that characterize Bioagaete Cultural Solidario are the foundations on which the responses to this world crisis must lie.
Our concern about the situation of poverty in which many families are submerged, due to the economic effects of the coronavirus, has led us to look for ideas to help out. This is how the first virtual disk “BIODISCO” arises; an initiative of the Asociación Bioagaete Cultural Solidario that we, together with a group of socially committed artists, have created to reach the homes, hardest hit by the pandemic. The outlook seems bleak, but we have seen an opportunity to be more supportive than ever.
It is a unique and special virtual album because it brings together artists who have collaborated with the Bio@gaete festival over the years. They are creators, who have contributed their works to help families in need of us. What better way than to do it with joy, through music!
The goal: bring food to families affected by the coronavirus.
We propose to bring food to the table of vulnerable Canarian families who do not have access to social benefits or who simply do not make ends meet. We will do it through the Cáritas Diocesana de Canarias organization, which will be in charge of managing the aid that we manage to collect.
We will also reach Senegal, where the Talibés children are, who survive day by day in the streets asking for food or some money. The coronavirus has left them unable to go outside and, therefore, without food. The aid will be channeled through Afrocanarias Diakhase and Maison de la Gare, both small organisations established in Senegal.
How will we do it?
The «BIODISCO» will arrive to your email once you give your solidarity contribution what you want or can. You can make your donation through PayPal. It is very simple, it is not necessary to have a PayPal account to be able to contribute to the projects, it is enough to have a bank card. We will only know your e-mail address to send you the link so you can download the album.

Every cent collected will go entirely to the purchase and distribution of food in Gran Canaria and Senegal.
